WiDS Livermore returns on March 7

LLNL

We are hosting our 5th WiDS Livermore regional event to encourage our community of women in computing. We will watch the WiDS Stanford Livestream as well as feature Lab-focused technical talks, mentoring breakout sessions, and a career panel.

WiDS Livermore is an independent event hosted by LLNL Ambassadors as part of the annual Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University and an estimated 200+ locations worldwide, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science. All genders are invited to attend all WiDS Worldwide conference events.

The program for this one-day virtual conference will include a livestream of the Stanford conference as well as provide workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking opportunities. This year’s Livermore event features a fireside chat between Kim Budil, LLNL’s first woman director, and Jessie Gaylord, leader of LLNL’s Global Security Computing Applications Division. Registration is open until February 27.
