Meet the Data Science Summer Institute class of 2025.
Students tackled a shared problem in computer vision for laboratory automation: Students explored the use of computer vision techniques on synthetic data to train models that will be applicable to automated laboratory tasks. In an automated laboratory, computer vision models drive components such as sensors and robotic arms, enabling experiments to be completed without exposing scientists to hazardous tasks.
